Tom Brady is fed up with questions about his future.

The Tampa Bay Buccaneers superstar’s time with the franchise is nearing its conclusion and speculation about his future in the NFL has been a huge talking point since the team’s 31-14 loss to the Dallas Cowboys in the wildcard round of the playoffs.

Brady is reportedly undecided whether he wants to extend his playing career and join a new team or retire for a second time in the span of a year. During his weekly appearance on the Let’s Go podcast on Monday, he addressed speculation about his future with a passive-aggressive response, telling host Jim Gray:

“If I knew what I was going to f**king do I would’ve already f**king done it. I’m taking it a day at a time.”

Brady said he’s spending time with his kids and doing things that he couldn’t do during the season.

Brady says he has been spending time with his kids and doing all the things he “put in the drawer,” during the season. He said there’s no “soft landing,” for the end of an NFL season. twitter.com/nflstroud/stat…

Will Tom Brady play next season?

When Tom Brady reversed his decision to retire less than two months after announcing it in February 2022, the quarterback claimed he had unfinished business in the NFL.

What followed was an 8-9 regular-season record and a first-round exit from the playoffs. If Brady had unfinished business before this season, it surely hasn’t been taken care of yet.

It’s safe to conclude that it’s a matter of where and not if Brady will play next season. Much like in 2020 when he left the New England Patriots, the seven-time Super Bowl champion will assess his options before announcing where he’ll play next season.

The options are intriguing. The Las Vegas Raiders, Carolina Panthers, Tennessee Titans, and Atlanta Falcons are among the teams looking for a new quarterback. All four would seriously consider landing Brady, but the ball is in the quarterback’s court.

Tom Brady choosing the Buccaneers was a surprise, even for Rob Gronkowski, but it paid off as he led them to a Super Bowl win in his first season with the team. The quarterback’s suitors will be hoping that history repeats itself next season.
