ONE Championship showcased Rodtang Jitmuangnon’s durability with an Instagram tribute.

Every day is a good day to praise Rodtang. The 25-year-old has arguably become the biggest superstar on the ONE roster. Holding a promotional Muay Thai record of 11-0, ‘The Iron Man’ has never failed to entertain in the circle. ONE recently posted another highlight reel of the Muay Thai phenom with the caption:

“Absolute SAVAGE ? Will Rodtang Jitmuangnon outstrike Daniel Puertas at ONE on Prime Video 6 on January 13? ? @rodtang_jimungnon”

Rodtang holds an overall professional Muay Thai/Kickboxing record of 269-42-10. ‘The Iron Man’ grew up in poverty before fighting his way to superstardom in the combat sports world. He is now looking to test his skills in other martial arts disciplines featured in ONE Championship.

Rodtang Jitmuangnon will return at ONE on Prime Video 6 against Daniel Puertas

Rodtang Jitmuangnon had an unforgettable year with ONE Championship. He started with a mixed-rules bout against MMA legend Demetrious Johnson in March.

The 25-year-old came out firing but couldn’t put away ‘Mighty Mouse’ in the first round under Muay Thai rules. In the second round, Johnson entered his comfort zone and choked Rodtang unconscious in a wildly-entertaining fight.

‘The Iron Man’ went back to his stomping ground in the flyweight Muay Thai division for the rest of 2022. He returned in May with a dominant unanimous decision victory against Jacob Smith. Rodtang fought again six months later and made a statement against Joseph Lasiri, battering the ONE strawweight Muay Thai world champion for the entirety of their fight.

Rodtang’s destruction of the flyweight Muay Thai division has led to aspirations for a new challenge. ‘The Iron Man’ has committed to capturing the ONE flyweight kickboxing world title. He will start his 2023 run by taking on Daniel Puertas, a 2x ISKA Kickboxing world champion, at ONE on Prime Video 6 in January.

With a win against Puertas, the Muay Thai phenom will likely fight for the title against the winner of Ilias Ennahachai vs. Superlek Kiatmoo9, which is also set to go down at ONE on Prime Video 6.
