RCB vs RR
44 / 100

Sanju Samson’s Rajasthan Royals successfully restricted the in-form Royal Challengers Bangalore batting lineup to 172/8. RR started strong, with Yashasvi Jaiswal building solid partnerships with Tom Kohler-Cadmore and captain Sanju Samson. However, RCB clawed back during the middle overs by quickly dismissing both Jaiswal and Samson. Dhruv Jurel was run out thanks to a world-class effort by Virat Kohli at the boundary.

With RR needing 58 runs off the last six overs and Riyan Parag and Shimron Hetmyer at the crease, RCB appeared to be in control, especially given their exceptional fielding and the batters’ running mistakes. However, Rovman Powell swiftly turned the tide and finished the chase.

Earlier, Avesh Khan took three wickets despite a costly start in his first two overs, while Ravichandran Ashwin impressed with figures of 2/19. Virat Kohli contributed 33 off 24 balls, and Rajat Patidar added 34 off 22. Mahipal Lomror provided late impetus with a quick 32 off 17 balls. Despite these efforts, RR consistently disrupted RCB’s attempts to build steady partnerships.
