Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) enters the season with the blessing of Virat Kohli’s impressive batting form. The Indian skipper has scored five centuries across T20I, ODI, and Test formats in recent months, and there are high hopes for him to replicate his 2016 form. However, RCB will miss key players such as Wanindu Hasaranga and Josh Hazlewood for their first game, and Glenn Maxwell’s fitness is also a concern. Though the team has good options, their spin department will be slightly weakened without Hasaranga.

Jofra Archer, who missed IPL 2022, will be back and his performance will be worth watching.
