Jake Paul shared a somewhat mixed reaction to the breaking news regarding Conor McGregor and Michael Chandler’s TUF announcement, as he took time to urge boxing fans to “learn from MMA fans” whilst taking shots at the two athletes.

The YouTuber often finds time to react to huge UFC news and isn’t afraid to share his honest opinion on the constant happenings within the MMA world. Despite having a clear love for boxing, the star recently made headlines after signing a deal with the PFL, which reportedly involves him competing in the sport.

In a post on social media, Jake Paul responded to Conor McGregor and Michael Chandler being selected as coaches for the upcoming season of The Ultimate Fighter by highlighting their less-than-impressive recent form inside the octagon.

“Boxing fans should learn from MMA fans to support fighters. McGregor 1-3 in his last four fights. Choked out, knocked out. His opponent is 1-3 in his last four fights, knocked out and choked out. But it’s a massive fight and the fans don’t care one bit.”

‘The Problem Child’ has managed to build his way up to a 6-0 unbeaten record since dedicating his life to boxing, and his most recent win against Anderson Silva is starting to make fans take notice.

While it could be a tough night at the office, Jake Paul is lined up to face his first-ever professional boxer next time out, as he hopes ‘third time’s the charm’ in his scheduled clash against Tommy Fury, a bout which has fallen through twice prior.

When will Conor McGregor fight Michael Chandler?

With the announcement of The Ultimate Fighter’s 31st season, Dana White insisted that Conor McGregor and Michael Chandler will share the octagon later this year, but no official date was set.

As the forthcoming season runs from late May to mid-August, a matchup between the two entertaining brawlers can be expected to take place not too long after the final episode of TUF airs.

It’s most likely that Chandler will welcome McGregor back into the octagon from September onwards, with the pair almost certainly going on to headline the event despite no title being on the line.

If all goes to plan, viewers could be witnessing an all-time classic when the two knockout artists step foot into the cage, with the war having all the ingredients for a potential fight-of-the-year spectacle.
