ONE Friday Fights 1 was a tough act to follow, but ONE Friday Fights 2 more than delivered on the action that ONE Championship has always promised.

The capacity crowd inside the iconic Lumpinee Boxing Stadium in Bangkok was treated to a stacked billing that culminated in Kulabdam Sor. Jor. Piek Uthai taking another win over Sangmanee PK.Saenchai.

Kulabdam’s victory over Sangmanee was a fitting end to the stacked card, which also featured incredible action that put forth Muay Thai at its absolute best.

The Bangkok card saw Yodlekpet Or.Atchariya batter Romania’s Silviu Vitez to get the second-round knockout and Pongsiri PK.Saenchai survive an absolute brawl against Turkey’s Ferzan Cicek to take the unanimous decision win.

ONE Fight Nights 2 also featured Mohammed Siasarani taking a majority decision win in a featherweight barnburner against Avatar PK.Saenchai, as well as Nakrob Fairtex getting the better of Sherzod Kabutov in their flyweight contest.

The night’s penultimate bout saw Chalamkhao PK.Saenchai put on a dominant display against Pettong Kiatsongrit. With that, he secured a unanimous decision win in their strawweight match.

Marie Ruumet, who survived three rounds with Anissa Meksen at ONE 156 back in April 2022, was also on the card. The 23-year-old fighter secured a methodical unanimous decision win over Thai-Ngan Le to get back in the win column.

Kulabdam secures another win over Sangmanee at ONE Friday Fights 2

It was a rematch that was almost three years in the making, but Kulabdam made sure to get his hand raised once more.

Kulabdam knocked Sangmanee out in the first round of their previous meeting at ONE: No Surrender III in August 2020. The rematch saw him at his calculated best.

While it didn’t end in a flashy knockout, the main event of ONE Friday Fights 2 saw Kulabdam attack with unrelenting pace and precision.

Kulabdam practically controlled the match from bell to bell and tagged Sangmanee with repeated leg kicks. The biggest shot of the fight transpired late in the fight when Kulabdam rocked Sangmanee with a cracking left hook.

During his post-fight interview with Mitch Chilson, Kulabdamn said:

“I have a hundred percent confidence that we were going to win this one. Because the last match I won by knocking him out with my punch, so this time I planned that he might be defensive of my punch, so I used my legs quite a lot.”
